Accessibility
Accessibility statement.
We want everyone to be able to plan a ride with PeaksPal — including people who use a screen reader, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. Work on this site includes:
- Text and background colours checked for sufficient contrast.
- A “skip to main content” link and clear page landmarks and headings.
- A visible keyboard focus on every link, button and form field.
- Descriptive text for every photograph.
- Labelled form fields, with error messages that say what needs fixing.
- A pause button on the background video, and reduced motion for visitors who ask for it in their device settings.
- The full site in Spanish, with a language switch on every page.
Known limitations
Some of our films and rider clips do not yet have captions or transcripts. If you would like a description of any video, ask us and we will send one. Films hosted on YouTube use YouTube's own player and its accessibility features.
Tell us if something doesn't work
If any part of this site is hard to use, email info@peakspal.com. We reply within one working day and will get you the information another way.
